Party Hard. Epileptic (Martyn No Strobe Mix) It?s a nice summer vibe with a killer bassline for all da dub step massive. Martyn takes this track on a lovely holiday and comes back looking like a black guy with dreadlocks. Thought it couldn?t get any better it just did, this can be huge, bigger then Gordon Brown?s face. |

| A brand new label from France; ?Katorza? bought to you by label head Maelstrom who?s label mantra is similar to that of his own releases, to deliver top notch music, be it taking in the styles of breaks, electro, techno and all with a serious dollop of funk to get the party going. Maelstrom has had releases on Jalapeno Records, Rotax, Labrok, Menu Music and West Records. Maelstrom has quite simply exploded onto the scene in the past two and half years, drawing the support of artists across the globe, including the likes of Krafty Kuts, Aquasky, Lady Waks, Cut La Roc, the Utah Saints, Ellis Dee, Rennie Pilgrem and the Plump DJs! First up on this label?s debut release Redux steps up with Diskobreaks which kicks straight in with its pounding distorted bass and fractured sounds. The precision edits and serious, but slightly cheeky, attitude give this electro - house expedition a firm footing on the dance floor. The glitchy tweaks and filtered chords lift the track and ensure that your mind, and not just your arse, is catered for! The 'Candy mix' starts off with a chunky breakbeat and bouncy bass and then goes all expansive and progressive for the early morning crowd who can get lost in its deep textures and subtly pounding and driving four-four organic-mechanic sounds. Woah there! The 'Deadend mix' is unashamedly an excursion into uncompromising techno-electro and you really shouldn't let your mother, or grandmother, hear this because it will sound like an alien machine come to take them away! The juddering filtered chords are still here, but underpinned by a fierce arpeggiated bass that really punches through the track and is sure to keep those filthy drug takers bouncing up and down on the dancefloor and punch the air with their fists in involuntary acts of demented dancefloor mayhem! | Norwich based Lightshapers and Wolverhampton?s Ash Hunt are two up & coming producers that have collaborated and come up with a chunky, rolling breaks track. Get Up features a catchy ?robotic vocoded vocal? and a deep sub bass that should be perfect for the coming summer parties and festivals yet still tough enough to rattle the club sound systems! On the B-side the Anti-Science mix is aimed straight at the dance floor. Full of twisted bass sounds and ?techno-acid synths? this is not a straight forward tune. The middle section features a different drum groove and the crushed synths twist and morph into the bassline for a stomping section, then back into the rolling drums and bass. We think this is another Waveshape release that will appeal to a wide audience in the breaks scene.. |

Bulgarian born House/Techno/Electro/Kwaitech... ..blah blah, producer/dj from Cape Town, mr.elastik is the more minimal inspired alter ego of fidget dude: the Bulgarian mr.elastik is for the other side of his artistic expressions, anything from soft minimal compositions, to driving techno, to post minimal-fidget experimentalist electro-techno... either way he is the guy who just loves to see people shake it on the dancefloor. ?Justice?, the original mix, has been caned by the Klaxons! since the beginning of the year, from various dancefloors all the way to Annie Nightingale and Annie Mac shows.
