| Moriarty was the arch-villian of Sherlock Holmes in Conan Doyle's detective stories. The only criminal to outfox the detective, he was a mysterious figure with an ingenious mind. Moriarty – Brad Tanner & Steve Walker – aren't arch-criminals, but they do make ingenious music. Signed up by Westway for their dubwise electronic 'Boom Town' track last year, the guys have subsequently remixed Boogie Army, the Utah Saints and Dogtown Clash and now come with this ingenious double-header. 'Lose It' is a big room, deep down and dirty electro-breaks missive with a memorable deep throat vocal emploring dancers to get lost in the moment. “Ladies and gentleman, welcome. I’m your DJ,” runs the refrain, building the runnings up nicely. “Feel the drums, get ready to explode.” This is a DJ-friendly track that’ll have punters climbing the walls around dancefloors everywhere. 'Flip The Switch' on the flip again rocks the electro sound, but in more of a house style. Big things await Moriarty. Brad also produces under the name Tannerlogue, while Steve is resident DJ at Leamington's infamous Smack club in the Midlands. As Moriarty they've been playing out all over, and are currently working on their debut album. |

| Scenic Route by F.O.N.K. is a bassline driver Electronic Techy thumper, which swells in to Glitched up fx, synths and beats, all Mixed up with deep atmospheric back sounds. The Tommy Four Seven Remix of Scenic Route is more of a Electronic Minimal Club affair, but still driver by a fat melodic bassline and big atmospheric fx, taking its time to build being eight minutes in total. Elastech the second track on the b side by F.O.N.K is on a more spacey dance tip, but still bass driver and Glitched up with some cool techy house synths. F.O.N.K has had a number of releases in the past on record labels such as Abstrakt Dance, Dark House Records and Ramdom Music, also having his music played on Radio One and Kiss fm in the pass and having his track “This ones yours” remixed by Envoy. Tommy Four Seven In 2007 IDJ picked him as "one to watch". This year DJ mag said "Tommy Four Seven is primed to blow them away in 2008". And all before he turned 21... First appearing on vinyl as an 18-year-old on oldschool tech label Brique Rouge, Tommy Four Seven has since released on labels from Love Minus Zero to iO Music Catwash, and of course has been a regular on Brique Rouge's nastier sister label Kill Brique. He's remixed Wink, DK7, Mike Monday and Tom Pooks, and been a regular guest at nights from Paris's tres cool ship-borne party Terrassa, London's underground afterhours Redlight, and parties from Tahiti to Lithuania to Ibiza, as well as key local London clubs like Fabric, the End and the Key. Scenic Route is the first release on Rebel Audio Recordings aka R.A.R., Founder and launched by Mark Dale as a Label, Club Promotion and Publishing all in one. The Second Release on R.A.R. is by Mecanique aka Jacksonvilla, who has had tracks out on Slave Records, Toolroom, Plastic City and District of Corruption, Also with inclusion on compilations by Sasha, Bedrock, Darren Emerson and Danny Howells to name but a few. |

| The nCounterz series are a sub-project of the I.O.T. labels, which main purpose is to join intergalactic forces with other like-minded labels on split EPs. For this second instalment, they team up with Torsion records, also hailing from Marseille downtown area, and give out 2 monster tracks of high octane dubstep induced beats … Arok, already known for his mental yet dancefloor tracks released on I.O.T. vinyls and CDs, and Probe1 from Torsion records, deliver « The hunt », a half tempo epic travel towards spaces where dubstep, glitch, and breaks influences melt shamelessly at 130 bpm. The second assault is peak time tunage from Loan (whose first album will be released in 2008 on DTC records), and Rimshot (one half of the Interlope duo, signed on Expressillon records). « End of negociation » illustrates how an exquisite arpeggiator and a devastating bassline can serve no compromise in styles. |

| Pushin plastic is the record label and club night run by Vincent Kane (vin100).. Super Deejay Bobzilla makes his debut here, with an impressive dj career under his belt with previous dj sets alongside Jon Carter, Jacques Lu Cont, Freestylers, Freq Nasty, Shut Up And Dance, Erol Alkan, Annie Mac, Scratch Perverts, Simian Mobile Disco and Adam Freeland.
